Our boys are proof that diagnoses do not define destiny. They are living, breathing reminders that joy can coexist with challenges, and that sometimes the bravest warriors come in the smallest bodies.

Gray’s story is one of hope, resilience, and unconditional love. To other parents just starting their journey: you are not alone, and your child is perfect exactly as they are.

Now I understand why parents like me are called The Lucky Few. Because very few people get to know what it’s like to be loved by someone with Down syndrome, and it is the purest, most euphoric love imaginable.

Rowen’s path may look a little different, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. Every step, every word, every smile is a victory. He’s our sweet, quirky “little old man”, and to us, he’s a superhero.

Here’s to celebrating differences, cheering on progress, and honoring the journey just like Rowen’s.
